The Epson NSX driven by A. Lotterer and T. Matsuda during the 2005 Super GT season was one of 4 NSX machines fielded by the Honda camp. The Team Kunitmitsu Raybrig NSX driven by S. Philipe and J. Dufour was one of 4 NSX machines entered for the 2005 Super GT season. Good results were hard to come by for the NSX teams until they made the switch from the twin turbo engine to the NA 3.5 liter engine.
